Ronald Wesley Wood died as a result of an electrical shock. He received the shock when a metal pole he was holding came into contact with a high voltage electrical line. His administratrix sued for his wrongful death. At the close of plaintiffs case, the trial court directed a verdict in favor of defendants. The trial court ruled that decedent was contributorily negligent as a matter of law. The issue, here, is the correctness of this ruling.
